T\u00e4m\u00e4 innovatiivinen asettelu eliminoi kennon pinnan varjostuksen, mik\u00e4 parantaa sen kokonaistehokkuutta. <\/li>\n<li>MWT (Metal Wrap Through) ja EWT (Emitter Wrap Through) luokitellaan my\u00f6s takakontaktiaurinkokennoiksi. Kun kontaktit sijoitetaan laajemmalle taakse, sarjavastus pienenee, mik\u00e4 parantaa kennon hy\u00f6tysuhdetta.  <\/p>\n<p>IBC-aurinkokennon ensisijainen absorptiokerros on kiteinen piikiekko (c-Si), joka voi olla joko n- tai p-tyyppinen. T\u00e4m\u00e4 kerros luodaan seostamalla pii boorilla tai fosforilla halutun napaisuuden mukaan. Kennon suorituskyvyn parantamiseksi k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n passiivointi- ja heijastuksenestopinnoitetta, joka on tyypillisesti valmistettu SiO:sta, heijastuksen minimoimiseksi ja pinnan suojaamiseksi.  <\/p>\n<p>Toinen IBC-kennojen keskeinen piirre on diffuusiokerros, jossa n- ja p-tyypin alueet riste\u00e4v\u00e4t. Tietyiss\u00e4 tapauksissa k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s P-tyypin kiekkoja. C-Si-vaihtoehdoista suositaan yksikiteist\u00e4 piit\u00e4 (mono c-Si) sen suuremman hy\u00f6tysuhteen vuoksi, mutta monikiteinen pii (poly c-Si) on edelleen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kelpoinen vaihtoehto.  <\/p>\n<p>c-Si-kiekkojen tehokkuuden parantamiseksi toiselle tai molemmille puolille levitet\u00e4\u00e4n heijastuksenesto- ja passivointikerros. T\u00e4m\u00e4 kerros koostuu usein piidioksidista (SiO2), joka on l\u00e4mp\u00f6hapetettu, vaikka my\u00f6s muut materiaalit, kuten piinitridi (SiNx) tai boorinitridi (BNx), ovat tehokkaita heijastuksen minimoimisessa ja kiekon pinnan suojaamisessa. <\/p>\n<p>Etukontaktien siirt\u00e4minen takapuolelle edellytt\u00e4\u00e4 diffuusiokerrosten luomista, jotka koostuvat riste\u00e4vist\u00e4 n+- ja p+-emitterikerroksista.
