I HJT-solceller brukes kun monokrystallinsk silisium p\u00e5 grunn av dets overlegne renhet og effektivitet, noe som gj\u00f8r det ideelt for applikasjoner med h\u00f8y ytelse. <\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Amorft silisium (a-Si)<\/strong><br>Amorft silisium dukket opp p\u00e5 1970-tallet som et egnet materiale for tynnfilmfotovoltaisk teknologi. Selv om det inneholder naturlige tetthetsdefekter, kan disse fjernes gjennom hydrogenering, noe som resulterer i hydrogenert amorft silisium (a-Si:H). Denne modifikasjonen forbedrer b\u00e5ndgapet og dopingkapasiteten, noe som gj\u00f8r det til en uunnv\u00e6rlig komponent i produksjonen av HJT-celler.  <\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Indiumtinnoksid (ITO)<\/strong><br>Indiumtinnoksid er det foretrukne materialet for det transparente, ledende oksidlaget (TCO) i HJT-solceller. ITO er kjent for sin refleksjonsevne og elektriske ledningsevne, og det forbedrer ytelsen til optoelektroniske enheter ved \u00e5 fungere som et avgj\u00f8rende kontaktlag. Det unike med dem er bruken av et trelags absorberende materiale som kombinerer tynnfilm og tradisjonell solcelledesign. N\u00e5r en last kobles til modulens terminaler, omdannes fotonene til elektrisk energi og skaper en str\u00f8m som flyter gjennom lasten.  <\/p><p><strong>Fotonabsorpsjon og generering<\/strong> av elektronhullpar<br>Fotoner som treffer P-N-overgangen, eksiterer elektroner, flytter dem inn i ledningsb\u00e5ndet og danner elektronhullpar (e-h). Disse elektronene samles opp av terminaler som er koblet til det P-dopede laget, og genererer en str\u00f8m som flyter gjennom lasten. Etter at kretsen er fullf\u00f8rt, g\u00e5r elektronene tilbake til cellens bakre kontakt og rekombineres med hull, slik at e-h-syklusen lukkes. Denne kontinuerlige syklusen muliggj\u00f8r str\u00f8mproduksjon.   <\/p><p><strong>Redusere overflaterekombinasjon<\/strong><br>Overflaterekombinasjon, et fenomen der elektroner danner par med hull p\u00e5 overflaten av standard c-Si-fotovoltaiske celler, begrenser effektiviteten ved \u00e5 hindre elektroner i \u00e5 bidra til str\u00f8mflyten. Heterojunction-celler l\u00f8ser dette problemet ved \u00e5 inkorporere en passiviserende tynnfilm laget av hydrogenert amorft silisium (a-Si:H) med et bredere b\u00e5ndgap.
