We are proud to be able to share here our extraordinary success story with Sebastian Boll from the outstanding RegioEnergieWerk company in Germany. As specialist photovoltaic module manufacturer Maysun Solar, we are delighted to showcase this transformative project that brings clean and efficient solar power to a cinema called Haveltorkino in the German city of Rathenow. Please join us as we delve into the details of this successful collaboration.

A collaborative effort for sustainable solutions
For this project Maysun Solar invested in 259 400W, 182mm all-black solar panels. The system is accompanied by a 100KWP hybrid system, which can be connected to the grid and has 50KWP of battery storage. The inverter and storage batteries (high voltage) from Sofar Solar are used, as well as the emergency power function and the K2 and ESDEC substructures. The commercial customer’s annual electricity consumption is 70,000 kWh per year and the installation of this PV module is a good long-term benefit for the customer’s entire company’s electricity supply. Our all-black monocrystalline PV modules have the following features:
- The 14A operating current is perfectly matched to mainstream string inverters, adding freedom of choice for the customer.
- The product uses182mm cell technology for more reliable performance, effectively reducing power loss due to shadow shading and achieving higher output power.
- The product is made by segmented welding technology, using a combination of triangular and flat surfaces to achieve micro-pitch cell interconnection and increase module efficiency.
- The product uses a three-piece junction box to reduce the risk of openings caused by adhesives.
A shared expectation and passion for sustainable energy solutions was the basis of our collaboration in the successful installation of 259 state-of-the-art 400W, 182mm all-black solar panels on pitched and flat roofs. In addition effective communication, careful coordination and thorough planning between us ensured the smooth implementation of the project.
A transformative impact on the area where the product is used
The 259 400W Full Black PV solar panels supplied by MaySun, combined with a 100KWP hybrid system, grid connection and 50KWP battery storage, have transformed the energy supply of this cinema in Haveltorkino, reducing energy costs and increasing sustainability, while also increasing the energy resilience of the owners.

Long-term advantages for the customer
The client’s annual electricity consumption is up to 70,000 kWh and the installation of this project system has resulted in both significant cost savings and improved operational efficiency. The completion of this project has propelled us a significant step forward in achieving our carbon emission reduction targets, and the positive environmental impact it has had contributes to the customer’s sustainability goals. Embracing clean energy oriented solutions contributes to a positive image for the client and enhances corporate responsibility benefits.

Pioneering a sustainable future
The project has also acted as a catalyst for change within the industry. Its successful implementation demonstrates the scalability and replication potential of solar installations and shows us the feasibility and economic advantages of the resulting transition to renewable energy. Encouraging collaboration between PV module installers, manufacturers and stakeholders, we hope that in the future we will have the opportunity to work well with more customers to adopt clean energy solutions and work towards advancing the industry further, together making great strides towards a greener and more sustainable future.

Let us once again celebrate the great success of the partnership between Sebastian Boll and Maysun Solar. This collaboration has not only changed the energy landscape in the regions where it is used, but has also set a precedent for sustainable energy initiatives that are highly effective and have outstanding results. Let’s embrace the power of solar energy and reduce our negative impact on the environment.
